An oldie but a goodie 😊 I made this around 7ish years ago. It was a very difficult and frustrating time in my life. And as it often seems to go, some of my biggest and best art pieces came from struggle. It’s a stippling or pointillism piece depending on how you want to interpret the line between.

No where near finished but enjoying the process and trying new things. I’ve rarely painted flowers, especially simplistic flowers, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone recently. 😊 I’ll add another layer or 2 on the flowers when they’re all finished but they will stay less detailed over all.

This is today’s starting point for my second version of frog and mushroom. The mushrooms need mycelium, the background needs light pizzazz of some sort, and a border will be painted on to look like wood. I haven’t decided if it will be wood bark or wood slice in appearance.
