Super excited to be bringing Nix Comics to the Columbus Book Festival again this year! Got some new books to share and am in the process of printing, folding, cutting, and stapling a limited quantity of mini-comics to give away for free!

WIP: new Tales From The Crate cover, inspired by the cover to Crime Suspenstories #29 by Jack Kamen. I've also plotted out a short origin story for the Record Swami for this issue.

With the new comics in to the printer, I am piddling around with the idea of doing a collected edition of Tales from the Crate #s 1-4 (The first three are out of print and #4 is close) Anyways, I did some really cool backgrounds in TFC #1. I should have kept up with that!

Today's soundtrack provided by Gene Vincent and his Blue Caps. I bought this comp in Cincinnati the night that I first saw the Buzzcocks at Bogarts. I also bought a cassette copy of the Cramps Bad Music for Bad People that same day, but its lost to time.

This "The People's Artist presented by Johnny Depp" thing sure looks like a scam.

Its me again cornering a market! This time I'm aiming for that coveted Iron Maiden/60s Girl Group fan crossover niche.
