I finished Resident Evil Requiem ✨ Loved it! I played a couple hours a night, in the dark with headphones to make it extra spooky 💀 It made me feel like a kid again playing the original on the Sega Saturn, terrified. Thinking about how many years ago that was now is pretty scary too actually…

Look, I know I already own too much dice… But these are some pretty funky looking dice. The Red Corsair ones especially. They look like little meat cubes. Sprinkle some salt on them, dip them in BBQ sauce… Mmmm. Yes please. And the Aeldari dice? You can see through them! Exceptionally cool.

“I’m so glad Resident Evil Requiem is scary like I hoped it would be,” I proudly declare, as I sit still not pressing any buttons on the controller while trying to not wet myself in terror.

I’ve been working on painting Skarbrand lately, one of my favourite Warhammer characters ☺️ I’ve always had my eye on him. But he’s always felt a bit too expensive… And then my parents kindly got me him as a Xmas present 💖💜 Really enjoying painting him so far! I love a big angry boy.

It’s my birthday weekend~! 🎉 💖✨ I got my hair trimmed and re-dyed yesterday so I’d be ready for my weekend of birthday fun~ Specifically, running a TTRPG, playing the new Star Trek video game, and watching movies in my pyjamas. Might paint Warhammer too. That’s right. It’s getting wild in here 😎

I was thinking about Imperial Fists, as you do, and I realised I’ve never painted one. So I went and painted one 💛 What’s that in his other hand, you ask? Umm… a tooth trophy, or a detonator maybe? Certainly not the hilt of a second sword that I snapped and then promptly lost 👀

I have a paper copy! In fact I think I got it in 2018, not long after I figured out I was trans. It really helped me put a lot of things into perspective and understand the feelings I had. It was a bright light in what for me was a really dark time. Thank you so much for writing it!

I assume this is a positive endorsement of my work, because “Excelente” sounds like “Excellent” and “Yes, You Are Trans Enough” sounds a lot like the book I wrote called “Yes, You Are Trans Enough.” Meanwhile, I assume “Terminar” is some sort of time traveling robot.

I’ve finally been playing through Spider-Man 2 💥 I like it! I think I’ve had the most fun using the photo mode to turn Mary Jane into a demonic poltergeist hunting down home intruders 👹

I could never get into Nioh or Nioh 2, something always felt missing. Although I then loved the more grounded action they had in Rise of the Ronin. Anyway, all this to say I’m hooked on the Nioh 3 demo. It feels like a Ronin sequel 💖 Me and my grandma samurai can’t wait for the full release.

I finally finished Expedition 33 and now my life is empty. What a masterpiece of a game 🇫🇷 🥖 I’ve not felt that deeply invested and totally blown away by a JRPG since Final Fantasy X. Speaking of, I think FFX got a re-release or something fairly recently didn’t it? Might be time to revisit~ 🌊🤽‍♂️

My doctor suggested I lose a bit of weight since my liver function is apparently not great. However, if I lost weight it would risk my ability to let Mittens cuddle and fall asleep on my big jolly belly. I think that’s just too much of a risk.

I started rewatching Voyager this week since the new video game has a release date now (next month!) Or at least I tried to… During the intro I burst into tears. It brought back vivid memories of my early 20s when I would rewatch one episode a night while cuddling with my dog, Max. I miss him 💜

Fellow folks with ADHD, It is with sorrow and regret that I deliver this message: We need to stop procrastinating and do our taxes. The deadline can now be measured in days. I know. I’m not going to bother yet either. But we should at least pretend we’re going to do it before the final minutes.

I’m usually a very body positive person and appreciate my body no matter what… But I have to confess, it gets me down sometimes when I remember my body can’t do the Vulkan salute 🖖

My yearly obsession with Total War Three Kingdoms has flared up so I’m spending all my time thinking about how to unify China. Due to a food shortage and difficulty securing my borders I reluctantly chose to bend the knee to Cao Cao. …And then betrayed him when things stabilised. He is not pleased

Some days I’m like: it’s OK that I live a much quieter life these days. Chronic fatigue means that most days I just sleep, but my life still has joy in ☺️ And then other days I’m like: I need to get another book published so I feel important and admired again, otherwise my life is meaningless 💀

I miss working in a university but I definitely feel grateful that I left before AI showed up.

It’s slightly concerning to realise I take much better care of Henry’s health and wellbeing in Kingdom Come 2 than I do myself in real life. Henry gets given proper sleep in a high quality bed, fed regularly and healthily, socialises with his neighbours, goes for a daily jog…

It’s such a cliché to call a trans person “brave.” Admittedly I’ve been snarky about that word in the past. But y’know what? Fuck it, yeah it was brave to transition. It was brave to announce myself as something I knew people would forever fight me over, and go ahead with it all anyway.

ADHD is fun* because you become utterly obsessed with a particular topic to the point it rules your life. This can last weeks, months, or even years. But if you take a break from that thing and don’t feed the obsession? Game over! Time to obsess about something new! ✨ *May not actually be fun.

Now that I’m more confident at painting, I decided to get Angron off the shelf and add some shading and dried blood to his skin. I’m pretty happy with the result! I was afraid of overdoing it with the blood, but I think I managed to resist before doing too much?

I’m playing the new(ish) Indiana Jones game via GamePass and enjoying it quite a lot 💜 The only problem(?) is that it’s too irresistible and fun to punch fascists every time I come across one. So I spend most of the game in giant brawls instead of solving any of the mysteries.

Mr. Centos is coming along ✨ I know I should do something with the banner but I’m nowhere near good enough to paint anything on it… So for now he’s going into battle with a big white flag of surrender 🏳️ While still shooting people… Pretty sure that’s a war crime?
