I’m seeing all these holiday sales coming out. They’re suggesting stick to a budget and shop early. Ain’t happening! Holiday shopping is off the table for me! I would be crazy purchasing big ticket items or even trying to give out gifts in this unstable economy. This is a survival mode economy.

Vance is back in Indiana today, personally pressuring GOP lawmakers to ignore their conscience and enact an extreme gerrymandering plan. The fact that they have to send in the VP tells us something important and encouraging: political pressure against this plan is working, even in deep red places.

Imagine opening a letter saying your health insurance costs are about to rise by thousands, even tens of thousands, next year. That’s the reality for millions of Americans later this month if we don’t extend ACA tax credits. I won’t stand by while people are priced out of the care they need.

Sometimes we need a moment, but if you tune out completely, they win. Fascism doesn’t need your support, just your silence.
