The neighborhood assembly declared that the interim government must hold accountable the groups that block roads and attack civilians. The violence continues! A few days ago, another massacre took place in Suweyda, a region inhabited by Druze people. The voice in the video repeats: ‘Massacre,’ ‘Oh God,’ and ‘Children and women.’

Rivana Rojava und Arîn Mîrkan - two women who felt martyr in the heroic battle of Kobane. With their stance they did not just repel ISIS militarily, but broke the jihadist mentality by showing the strength and determination of women. YPJ honored the two fighters with a military ceremony.

ISIS is taking advantage from the chaos in Syria. Since the now interim government took power on 08.12.2024 until 20.09.2025, ISIS has carried out 153 attacks on North and East Syria. Today, the SDF forces once again successfully repelled an attack. 5 SDF fighters felt martyr, one was wounded.

The people of Raqqa showed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces. By shouting "We are all SDF" the participants of the demonstration made clear that the SDF and the people are one.

Women from all over Syria,including Alawite&Druze women who joined via Zoom, took part in the conference "Women’s Alliance: The Basis for Justice and Democratic Unity in a Decentralized Syria". The participants emphasized the necessity of unifying the voice of all women in Syria.

Self-defense for women is as important as air is for breathing. In this sense a new education period was held and 14 new women joined YPJ, promising to fight to defend their land and their people.

Today, the Bethnahrain Women's Protection Forces celebrated their 10th anniversary. Among others Syriac and Assyrian women are defending themselves, their communities and all women in Syria, knowing that only women themselves can ensure their own freedom and safety.

A security operation against ISIS is held in the city of Al Hasakh. The operation is launched by the SDF, the Internal security forces and YPJ. So far 39 memberes of ISIS cells have been captured.

The conference “Unified Stance of NE Syria’s Components”, opened by Îlham Ehmed, took place today. Among many others, representatives of the Kurds, Alawites, Druze and Syriac Christians spoke. This conference is an important sign for a democratic Syria.

One response to the genocide on August 3, 2014, against the Yazidi population was the establishment of self-defense units. In 2015 Êzîdxan Women’s Units (Yekinêyen Jinên Êzîdxan) was founded. Because one thing is clear: self-defense is as important for women as the air we breathe.

Reham Hecî, like countless other Yazidi women from Shengal, was kidnapped by ISIS in 2014. After 11 years she has now been freed by the YPJ. YPJ will continue its fight against ISIS until all Yazidi women are free!

Violence against women: According to sources from the ground, 2 women were sexually assaulted in the village of Al Mazraa in the Suweida region by armed groups likely belonging to the General Security forces. We strongly condemn this violence.

During the current attacks against the Druze people, Fewziye Fexredîn El Şaranî defended her community in El Dor. After killing 7 attackers she also fell. We remember her and all fighting women and mothers with great honour, knowing that women's spirit of resistance is unbreakable.
