I keep being surprised by the amount of twitch streamers who have no email anywhere. I even see it with streamers who do have few thousand followers and get 50+ views. Unless I somehow catch them live, can't send them a Sokobos 2 key. :(

Sokobos 2 sales are decent, but not good enough that I could justify a sequel at the moment. Which sucks, because I really wanna make Sokobos 3 and I got so many great ideas for it, but I am running a business now and I must make good decisions so my company doesn't go bankrupt.

Friendship ended with queue_free(). Now object pooling is my best friend.

Wow Japanese sales have doubled Chinese ones when it comes to Sokobos 2! Surprising since there is way more Chinese gamers in general, but I guess it makes sense Japanese players would like way Sokoban more.

Recently I learned the true importance of market research, but I also see too many people just doing that forever and just not starting prototyping, let alone developing and shipping. At the end of the day, you always learn the most from shipping a game.

I've officially got a handle on the basics of Godot and now I'm starting to prototype implementation details and level design. I've sorely missed this design phase part of gamedev. I explored a bit of metroidbrainia design with Gentoo Rescue, but now I'm excited to apply it as a central theme.

Pricing Sokobos 2 at $9.99 instead of $4.99 was the best thing I could have done. Seriously, there's no reason to price well done games below $9.99 anymore. Good indie games are worth the higher price. The game isn't even THAT long. 2-3 hours for those familiar with the genre.
