Reminder: in 2019, Dems tried to pass the “For the People” Act which would have expanded voting rights, changed campaign finance laws to reduce the influence of money in politics, and banned partisan gerrymandering. Mitch McConnell (R) blocked it from coming to a vote in the senate.
