This week I've been listening to quite old Maurice Sendak interviews, and it's been so refreshing hearing someone talk about writing the way I also feel about writing. It's not about trying to reach a certain audience. It's about being taken with an idea and letting the idea guide you.

It's been 5 days since I snatched up Smallest Friend and took her to have a giant botfly larvae removed from her neck. She's healing so fast, and today, she's also playing with string.

My smallest friend's current favorite activity is lap cuddles. Last night we were in this chair for at least two and a half hours with her not even once trying to leave. We played, napped, and groomed. It was a lovely time.

Am I the only one not bothered by the updated T&S coming to Bluesky? Some of you are acting like they're taking your porn away, but the only way that's true is if you're into rape stuff and uh... Well, I don't blame them for not wanting to be the go-to place for that.
