Started Lilliburlero yesterday evening with @maniacalinc.bsky.social, a teaching game. Not much has happened as yet, Williamite cavalry skirmish at Drogheda but were pushed back. Some Jacobite cannon fire on Williamite positions, will update as we progress in future. I am the Williamites.

Great weekend at Gaelcon, played Pax Porfiriana, People Power and A Distant Plain. Also made some new contacts. More gaming this weekend with some more Here I Stand!

Day three of Gaelcon today. Succeeded Diaz in Pax Porfiriana on Friday night and introduced a few newcomers to it who were enamoured. Played People Power by @gmtgames.bsky.social for the first time yesterday evening as the NPA, enjoyed it. Teaching A Distant Plain today!

I'm at @gaelcon.bsky.social this coming weekend in Dublin to teach Pax Porfiriana and A Distant Plain. Also should be playing People Power, COIN in the Philippines and will hopefully get some free play in! I'm free early on the Saturday if anyone wants to play anything, hit me up!

Great day yesterday playing Here I Stand along with @mrgoyette.bsky.social. As the French I captured Charles V, built a few chateuas and warred with Hapsburgs and English. @mrgoyette.bsky.social Ottomans took Vienna and lost Istanbul in the same turn. Hapsburg player had terrible luck too!

Started a second game earlier of Mr President by @gmtgames.bsky.social , going much smoother. End of year 2 and my party controls both houses in Congress. I am however bogged down in Afghanistan still.
