Good news! New HIV diagnoses in the UK fell by 4% in 2024. The UK remains among the top countries in the world for diagnosis (95% of all living with HIV are diagnosed), treatment (99% of diagnosed on treatment) and viral suppression (98% ‘undetectable’ - and so can’t pass the virus on sexually).

Here’s a hard truth on the scene. If you want to attract good people you have to bring good energy. Make something. Be skilled at a certain type of play. If you only drain and complain, you don’t make people want to hang around you. (This is distinctly different from having anxiety/depression)

I have approx. 600 photos from Folsom to filter/process through but this one stuck out.

This Folsom was different. I skipped the biggest bars and my play gear never left the bag. Somehow though. Being in the smaller places and letting people find me rather than chase every moment and experience gave me a lot more peace. I’m sorry to not have seen everyone but it felt healthier.

A year on – the message is the same. Enjoy the week, plan loosely, don’t harbour insecurity, and don’t expect any deals outside of second hand gear!
