I don't remember how to game dev.

Was important I get this running again for when I need a break from “work”. And now a part of the streaming set up whenever I start that again.

Game protag practice art. The face needs improvement. Feels inconsistent or not. I dunno. It's very late. I should sleep...

New monitor get. Went fancy (for me) this time with the Asus ProArt 32” 6K. … and after seeing it, 32” is too small for 6K. Unless I shove my face in front of the monitor. Anyhoo nice monitor so far from my brief testing.

Between both the Wii U and Switch versions of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I have only clocked in over 600 hours? I'm honestly disappointed by this.

Changed my work area. Originally was too cramped feeling. New set up definitely far more open feeling and logical. Plus, BFF can't jump scare me from behind. But, alas, my poor main monitor...

I am at that age where I should be asking for help to move things because... yeah... RIP monitor. The second one is scratched up but still functions. Just an eyesore now. Blarg.

Oh, hey, RPG Maker. ...so, um... how have you been since we last spoke? Going to fix that this weekend along with more art derusting. Gotta get back into a routine. It's been too long.

Practice on new iPad after about two month hiatus. Didn't know what or who to draw so something outside the usual.

Another thing I've been itching to do is make my own webpage again. Attending webinars hasn't helped this itch. More than anything to play around with various things that my job won't let me do/can't do. Just not sure what it would be about. If I was further along in my game, would use that.

Took way too long but pretty much back in business with my computer desk finally being set up. Been itching so much to get back into game dev and art. Well, art will need a couple of more days for a much needed upgrade to arrive.

Been having a blast playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity again. The load times are SO much better on the Switch 2. ...I just wish it would not crash so often. Especially when doing major stages that I just put 15+ minutes into...

Since moving about a month ago, been trying to set up my work area when I can. It's been in an incomplete state for about a couple of weeks though. Getting sick for a week didn't help. Hoping I can finish this weekend so I can finally get back to game dev and art. Blah.

I tend to be organized and plan things out yet oddly not applying that to my game. Joked with my BFF about my 5000+ hours in RPG Maker. So she quizzed me on my project mindset. That pushed me to research templates on game dev docs I've read about before. Now aiming for proper direction and goals. 👍

There’s a good feeling of improvement (job & personal) when I am able to take old code I’ve written and cut it down to so many fewer lines of code (and make better). The real challenge is that I’m the only one who does this so have to learn on my own without anyone to absorb knowledge from. Bleh.

Gave up on Mario & Luigi Brothership. I was having fun at first but the hub system format made the game feel like I was doing a checklist instead of exploring a vast world. Go here, now come back. Now go there and come back. So eventually got tired of that. Sad since found the game to be charming.

Watching Super Street Fighter II Turbo gameplay will always remind me that I have the useless knowledge of identifying the majority of the characters’ color palettes and which version of SF2 it’s from.

As a figure collector, WonFes use to be like figure Christmas for me with reveals of what's coming. Now I am old, out of touch, and shaking my fist at clouds so it's not as exciting. Just like real Christmas!.

I'm glad I'm not a Hatsune Miku fan because: 1) So many cool outfits 2) So many figures in said cool outfits 3) Stated cool figures being announced on what feels like a weekly basis. I'd be soooooo poor.

Seeing screens I already had an opinion. Now that I am using it, yup, not a fan of the new iOS design. In the camp of legibility mess. Definitely have to run with reduced transparency to read things. There are a lot of backgrounds it doesn’t work with especially my wallpapers (it needlessly blurs).

Wasn’t paying attention and picked up the saddest, most unlucky bag of crisps. 8! 8 crisps! Unless Kellogg’s is REALLY cutting costs. I mean, I’d believe it for a food company to do so.
