Ever since the yellow circles faded I have been planning to put some more color in when I had some free time. It is a sliver of a silver lining.

The pallet garden potting table finally died. So I pulled out the plastic lumber offcuts and cedar beams saved from the trash pile when my deck was replaced, and built a new one. Most pieces were exactly the right size and I got to use 3 of the strong ties from my Dad's old stash. #reducereuse

Since I don't have to get dressed for work, I don't have to wake up F'nor now. Got to take what tiny good I can find in these surreal times.

Nice day for a ride. Was not going to stop for a photo but my brother texted me. I needed to respond so he would not worry.

Staring into the coals in the chiminea thinking it is an apt metaphor for my career now that the current project is officially terminated. An extraordinary large serving of red wine has at least left me calm.

More furlough "lemonade": the entire side fence line, all 72 feet, weeded before the end of February. Now the daffodils can shine next month.

Today's furloughed February Fitness activity is moving dirt to the gazebo bed. 5 shovelfuls per trug, average 25 steps each way. Made 5 trips and my goal is to finish before temps get out of the 50s.
