Time for an accountability announcement! It is 9/22/2025 and I am still holding on to a goal of completing volume 1 of my manga/graphic novel by the end of the year. I took a look at my rough page outline and I have between 30-35 pages to go 😅 in the next 100 days/14 weeks.

Nothing like crafting an action sequence in a comic. It’s like solving a puzzle. One more page to wrap this sequence up though. Stay tuned 👀.

Drawing a foot at this angle is 1 thing, trying to draw the foot wearing combat boots at this angle is a whole other monster 😅.

Inking this comic page went smoother than sketching it. Coloring should be a lot of fun. Stay tuned 👀.

The sketch phase for this comic page was rough. Took a lot of reference from Akira and tweaked them to fit what I was trying to convey. This was a lesson in motorcycle drawing. Did I achieve perfect accuracy? Probably not. Was it fun though? Definitely.
