Home after watching a bit of history being made in Makerfield. Fair play, big win for Labour & Burnham. Proud of our candidate Jake and the Wigan Lib Dems for their professionalism and for giving people a liberal choice especially when we knew we aren’t strong in this constituency.

Third campaign of the year (it’s only May!!!) for me to manage….papers for Makerfield successfully submitted yesterday. Thank you to the Wigan Lib Dems for all their help and support. And a huge thank you to Jake Austin for being our candidate, the party couldn’t ask for a better person.

😮 Why did Reform betray their voters & help keep the massively unpopular local Labour party in power in Preston? Was it about helping residents or improving Preston? Nope. Reform leader admits that the Preston Liberal Democrats are the most anti-Reform in the city Yes we are & we are proud of it 💪

Very disappointing Preston council today as Reform, Tories, Greens and the Independents decided to prop up the deeply unpopular Preston Labour Party. 79% of Preston residents voted for change from Labour and yet Reform, Greens, Independents and the Conservatives have kept Labour in power.

My first ever #Warhammer40K gaming tournament. 3 games over 11 hours. Came away ranked 30th out of 42 with 1 win and 2 losses. Brilliant chat, no aggro and loads of laughs with top people. Definitely doing it again alongside casual games with friends ⚔️

Despite the Government leadership circus 🎪 no thoughts of challenge in my group 🤣 I have just been re-elected unopposed as leader of the Preston Lib Dem group. As the 2nd largest party in the city and joint top performers in the local elections, we will continue to be voice of Prestonians.

Thank you to Tim Farron MP for joining us on our Lea & Larches canvassing session today. Hundreds of doors knocked on, fantastic response on the doors for our brilliant local team. Reforms failure on roads, schools and council tax coming up a lot.

Only had an spare hour today so did a little canvassing in Cadley. Really nice comments about our hard work locally.

So much campaigning done by the Preston Lib Dem team today. Thousands of leaflets delivered, hundreds of doors knocked and garden signs going up.

Clearing my head by dropping off leaflet bundles with volunteers 🗳️ Super proud of my councillor team today. Shamefully Labour voted through £750k more funding towards their bonkers Preston bank idea while also voting against our motion to help families with disabled children.

This new hobby is supposed to be relaxing but that was tense!!! 1st game ever against the Adepta Sororites with a list I’m taking to a beginner tournament in mid May. The menace of melta guns, miracle dice and Morvenn Vahl but I got lucky with a last round win. Need to take more/better photos.

No delivery today so canvassed in Sharoe Green ward for our brilliant candidate and local resident Jack Singh. Spoke to Labour and Conservative voters switching to Lib Dem to stop Reform. Lib Dems won this ward in 2024 & 2025

Finished my Cadley ward deliveries so was able to get hundreds of leaflets out in Sharoe Green this morning before the rains came down 📬 Local resident Jack Singh will be an incredible councillor and is the only person who can stop Reform in Sharoe Green 🔶
