Disneyland Pass reservations, dated and undated tickets have become available again for the March 29 Disney Adventure World opening day. Grab them while they’re hot!

🔧 The old McDonald’s building will be demolished and removed in due time. There are currently no official plans for this space which will be filled with landscaping and trees.

🍔 And that’s the new McDonald’s Disney Village, now open! Our thanks to restaurant director Dimitri Zelmanski, the Disneyland Paris teams, and of course Grimace, for the tour and insights.

🍔 Disneyland Pass and Cast Member discounts are currently still available at McDonald’s Disney Village (by going to the staffed counter) but these discounts will eventually be going away once the McDonald’s rewards program has a wider international reach.

🍔 Despite having the full McDonald’s France menu (the old location only has a selection of items due to capacity), the new restaurant won’t be serving potato wedges, as 80% of customers are from outside of France and don’t order them.

🍔 We also got to visit the kitchens and dishwashing facilities (behind this door - no photos allowed). The kitchen has 3x capacity of the old location and prepares items from the full menu, made to order. Dishwashing is automated with state of the art systems.

🍔 Sustainability initiatives continue on the McDonald’s building roof which is covered in plants (still growing) and solar panels to power part of the structure:

🍔 The McDonald’s terrace features a green wall (still growing obviously) watered by a rain water collection system which also stores water for the dryer months. This was part of the building’s sustainability certification process.

🍔 The new McDonald’s Disney Village uses 5 elevators to deliver orders to the upper floors. The order markers customers pick up are RFID enabled and the staff is able to locate them across the 3 levels:

🍔 The new McDonald’s tour continues on the second floor with a variety of seating and a panoramic terrace overlooking Disney Village and Lake Disney:

🍔 A display pays tribute to the team who worked on this flagship McDonald’s project, and highlights the high construction standards in terms of functionality, innovation and sustainability.

🍔 A look at the upstairs space and terrace at the new Disney Village McDonald’s. It’s definitely a different vibe compared to the old location, with a variety of seating styles and locations. The terrace will be great on a sunny day!

🔧 And just like that, walls are up at the now permanently closed original Disney Village McDonald’s location. It’s unclear how and when the building will be torn down.
