I did not add 5 new chapters... I added 8 🫣😅😂😭.

I didn't plan on side character spiciness, but they have a mind of their own and told me to take my outline and just add a new chapter. They're as bad as I am.

Let's get this plot board back up with the changes I made so I can stop feeling stressed about the complete breakdown of my outlining system 🙃. Note to self: STOP ADDING CHAPTERS... Who wants to take bets that I'll add more during this process? I'm thinking I'll find a way to add at least five 😂.

How do people live alone and work from home at the same time? The silence kills me. Turning on background noise is just not the same.

Not me over here hurting my own feelings by coming up with reasons why someone is totally going to give me a bad book review 😅😂😭. Even Hendrick is giving me the side eye. Damn service dog is over paying attention to my heart rate while I'm being ridiculous.

I'm beyond in love with this character art for Erissa 😍. It truly brought her to life.

I've cried myself to sleep every night for 3 months as I grieve the last 9 years. But I finally was able to turn that grief into writing. It was only 866 words, but they were words I haven't had for weeks. Changing my book's dedication gave me the peace I needed. Baby steps.

We haven't made it out of bed yet because someone is a Mr. Grumpy and growls every time I try to leave the bed. Laptop it is!

I pants my way through a highly detailed, color coded chapter outline like it doesn't even exist. And then I add chapters so much that I keep correction tape companies in business because I have a problem with adding chapters. It's a process that I found by accident.

This is a great list! I would also add Jessica Johns (Bad Cree), Danica Nava (The Truth According to Ember), and HE Edgmon (Godly Heathens) to the list! Some of my favorite reads in the last two years!

Someone called my book the best book they've read all year, and I'm just over here still riding that high after a shitty day.
