Gym! Still careful with my foot.

I made gluten free, sugar free and lactose free blueberry muffins… so everyone at the office can eat it. They taste okay, even without all the good stuff. 😉

A lot of you know that hubby works in Middle East. The last week was a very scary time for us. But finally he could leave Middle East. He is now in East Asia and is safe and well.

Veggies and yogurt dips. I added some mayo to the dips to make them more unhealthy, but more delicious. And a glass of well chilled Chardonnay.

Visited my parents and gave them some of my homemade Swiss roll. Finished their tax declaration.

7:50pm: I am in bed. Wine and pain killers are not a combination, I would recommend.

I defrosted a cottage pie, that I made some time ago. Together with a salad and a glass off wine. 👍🏻

Visited my parents (drove there because of my foot). Wanted to do their tax declaration. But there were so many documents missing and the tax declaration software did not show the scanned documents. I canceled it and will try next Saturday again. Now home and resting my foot.

It is 6am. Normal people with a bad foot would still sleep. I was already at the public voting, at the recycling center, washed, dried and folded two loads and made a chocolate cake. I made my own coffee to go for the drive to the recycling center and the public voting. I am weird, I know. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Only 2 hours until this work week ends. I am resting my foot, taking the elevator when using the rest rooms on the next floor. Usually I never take the elevator. It feels weird. 🤭

Tuesday I felt so crucial pain in my right foot, that I called my doctor. I was there on Wednesday and he send me to an ultrasound scan today. They found a really badly inflamed achilles tendon. I need now a special bandage soaked with medicine and I have to rest my foot. 🥴 Send hugs and… more. 😉

Pasta sauce made of oven roasted veggies. Delicious.

Having a glass of wine for Toni. He will find his place in the garden tomorrow. I will stop posting about him and will get back to normal. Thanks for all the messages. Love you all. ❤️

Working from home without Toni for the first time. Only three left. I miss him so much.

I went on an early morning walk to clear my mind. It was very cold, but lovely. ☺️

I made a Polish salad yesterday. It had to sit in the fridge for 24 hours. It contains potatoes, carrots, peas, eggs, onions, green apple, pickles and a lot of mayonnaise. And dill. @dnlmrkrssll.bsky.social do you approve?

My parents cooked me a nice lunch for my Birthday two days ago. They are lovely.

R.I.P. Toni 💔😢

Toni needed a emergency surgery because of an intestinal obstruction. He does not recover well. The intestines will not work and his kidneys started to fail. I visited him today with Mum, but he did not recognize us. He is not in pain, but I think he will not make it. I am heartbroken. 💔

What a night and morning… Toni started vomiting last evening and did not stop until the morning. He was in pain and was moaning. We went to an emergency visit at the vet. He got injections and infusions. He was so week. They sent his blood the a laboratory. Let‘ s hope for good results. 😞

Because I worked from home today I could skip the commute to work. Cheers to Friday. And yes, there are some small ice crystals in the Cava, because I had it in the freezer for 10 minutes and I love it like that. Don‘t judge me.

Working from home today. Toni does not help. He said he is still on vacation. Little brat.
