Like before I can even fully get up and can give myself a chance to bail out of working out, I’m at the gym half awake going to work 💪🏾. By the time the “why am I here?” bug hits, I’m done with the workout , or close enough to where I can push through it. 😂

With fitness, it’s mind over matter, even if it’s looks like it’s the other way around. It also is a great way to play out the dynamic and build a relationship between your inner teacher and your inner student. The body and all of that comes that’s the easy part. Mastering the discipline is 80%.

It be the jump in conversations that let me know either a person is just ignoring the flow intentionally or even worse, they’re oblivious to it. Because “where do you workout?” to “where do you live?” Or “let’s go on a date” is a leap. It don’t even feel right. 😂
