I don't really have a ton to say about this. It's a funny special that does a good job of highlighting the election process, particularly with candidates making big promises that they can't follow up on. And of course, it has a lot of that classic Peanuts charm on top of that.

A lot of the Democrats supporting the “deal” have been around in the Senate for a while (ex: Dick Durbin in IL), whereas the newcomer swing state Dems (Mark Kelly + Ruben Gallego in AZ, Jon Ossoff + Raphael Warnock in GA, and Elissa Slotkin in MI) are going against it. Interesting.

Further evidence that this isn't about being a progressive or a moderate. Its about being a fighter or a coward.

It might be a little late since Halloween was a few days ago, but I wanted to call attention to the Treehouse of Horror (Simpsons) segment "It's the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse".

This is pretty much *the* definitive Halloween special for me. It's been a huge part of my life since my childhood, and even now, it still holds up.

Although I've rewatched clips of this special many times over the last few years, it's been a long time since I watched it in full, so I decided to give it a go this Halloween. And this is easily one of the best things to come out of Phineas and Ferb.
