Can't believe it has been 2 years since the October 7 attacks. And since then so much in the region has changed. Gaza is in ruins with over 60k dead, majority of the Israeli hostages are returned or dead, Hezbollah and Iran were weakened, and the Assad regime no longer exists.

I keep seeing this, but I don't believe the actions of Israel is to blame for antisemitic terror attacks the same way I don't believe the actions of Jihadists are to blame for islamophobic terror attacks. The only people to blame are the bigots who carry out such attacks.

One depressing fear I have is that political violence in the US is not going to turn down anytime soon. I don't want to say it will be Years of Lead levels of bad, but it definitely is going to get worse. Expecting more shootings, terrorism and riots as extremism gets worse.
