Finally finished the large painting I've been working on!

I tried automatic drawing for the first time while watching The History and Practice of Automatic Drawing with Shelley Klammer from Sketchbook Revival Bingefest.

In Cincinnati, you can get a discovery pass using your library card to go to some museums and pay-to-enter parks for free. My fiancee and I used one last weekend to visit one of the parks. After we came home, I tore up the pass (it's only good for one day) and used it in this art journal page.

I was inspired to try nature journaling again after watching the Sketchbook revival session This is Your Brain on Paper with @johnmuirlaws.com. I also decided to turn the plant I drew into a doodle pattern. I took one of it's leaves, added dots to it, and named the pattern "speckled". #doodle
