Working with @mumsforlungs.bsky.social @globalactionplan.bsky.social & more, I've learned how much wood burning stoves contribute to air pollution. & how low awareness of this link + health harms are. Including as part of future energy efficient/ low carbon heating standards is a missed opportunity.

To all the people saying, "it's cheaper", no it isn't, unless you have your own supply. Which is one reason why wood burning is predominantly done by wealthy or middle class people, poisoning themselves and poisoning others. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
