Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

apparently i completely forgot to re-add an eyebrow to quyen when i was doing some touch ups, but it's okay she's mostly mechanical so it's totally a modular part that just fell off or something.

I've been enjoying what the forced time away has done to my process since I was stuck with my notebook for a while. A fair bit more work with simpler tools and less fluff to confuse me as I go and I wonder how much more I can get out of that since I do generally prefer rougher and simpler approaches

The snap window feature that lets you pick a bunch of windows at various sizes is really nice and now I don't have it on my art machine since the other one gave up and is relegated to a games machine I'm really missin it
