Finally smoked a picnic roast in the smoker I rebuilt. Had some ‘Pooled pork’ as my daughter named it. Good food, good tunes, cold beer, and the woman I love beside me. Life is good.

One of our favorite traditions for the day after Thanksgiving is a nice walk in a local park. Nothing fancy, just a time to stretch the legs, breathe some fresh air, and walk off a bit of the grub from yesterday.

Beautiful morning, so took a walk in the woods at the Cherokee Nation Park. The Bear-Dog enjoyed himself for sure.

Had to get out the welder to do some repairs to Laura’s glider, so played around with a few ideas.

Following the storm home today. Small tornado or microburst hit town earlier. We’re good, but part of the neighbors roof from a block away is in our front yard. Power is out, but managed to grill some dinner before the rains started back up.

Been spending time the last couple of weeks building a cardboard boat with the Sequoyah Pride gang. And today we put the “Pink Pony Pirates “ to the test. We didn’t win, but it was a tight race, and I was pretty happy just to complete the course. A lot of fun with some great friends.
