I’ve been feeling that creative itch lately for both music and models. I haven’t really made time for either lately. I’m hoping next year is a little easier and I can make some ideas a reality.

I had an interesting day. My wife and I found a lost dog and were able to find its home and reunite it with its family. Showed up to work 3 hours late and chilled in a truck, then drove a tug and towed an aircraft. Pretty solid day lol

Typos kicking my ass today lol. I think I’m going to start posting short commentaries on games I play. There are plenty of people that review games. I just want to talk about them and share why I enjoyed them and how they’ve impacted me as I see stories progress.

I finished LOZ Echoes of Wisdom today. I really enjoyed it! I always wanted to see a game that puts Zelda in the spotlight. The game has some mechanics reminiscent of Tears of the Kingdom while also having the freedom of Link Between worlds from the era 3DS era.

Death Stranding 2 was amazing and also bat shit crazy. I loved it 🤘🏼

One of my favorite things I have in my kitchen is this custom print that guests think is a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign until they actually read it.

I had a job interview for the second time this month. Different position, it was the most casual interview I’ve ever had and I’m not sure how I should feel about that. Either way, one of the managers made me feel motivated. She said she didn’t earn her degree till she was 50.

I finished Pokemon Scarlet today. I enjoyed it, the experience is a lot better on Switch 2. That being said I think people were really harsh on the criticism. It’s not perfect but it isn’t terrible either. Seeing everything come together at the end was cool too.

I really hope they figure out some sort of comeback for Dutch later on in a Predator animated film. Watching Killer of Killers really got me hyped at the possibility. I’m not going to spoil it. Just watch it, you’ll see what I mean.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet definitely did not deserve the treatment it got. I understand it had performance issues and the devs were basically getting called money hungry for releasing a game in a “rushed state”. It didn’t help that it also got compared to Breath of the Wild.

I hope I can actually recognize Tony Hawk and not mistake him for someone completely different if I ever run into him someday.

The thought of going back to college scares the hell out of me. I doubt my intelligence, my dedication, but it feels like it’s something I have to do now. Hoping a degree can help find a different job/career field.

I finished Mobile Suit Gundam with @calamitea.bsky.social today. I can appreciate the original story a lot more along with its themes as an adult. I highly recommend it for people that are looking for a series with a great message.
