If there's one word to describe Knights of Guinevere, it's 'Uncomfortable'. There's just so much (blue) blood and gore, on top of this weirdly topical dystopia and bleakness, and with a dash of visual disassociation on top. Mind you, it's amazing - but it's also VERY uncomfortable.

Just a few patches ago, Genshin gave us a canon trans girl in Varesa (cuz of the horns. Also, colours). Today? They brought us another trans girl in Lauma, who's a doe centaur thing with huge-ass antlers. Now we just need a sheep girl with giant ram horns to make it three for three .u.

My favourite genre of Rouge the Bat is when she has the raspiest, most chain-smoking voice possible, like Dr. Mrs. The Monarch from Venture Bros. It's just very, very fun .u.

Watched the Gaslight District pilot today. Holy shit. The story itself is simple but fun (a heist), the writing is high quality, but the visuals... At some points, it felt like a FromSoftware thing, reimagined in stop motion aesthetics. And the amount of chunky salsa on the screen? Wow 0_o

I honestly don't get why so many people still insist on financially supporting the terf school franchise. That shit is only impressive for as long as you're baby brained and don't read any other fantasy books. Spend your time, money and effort on something less shitty than that dull terf slop.

Decided to check out that new Black Beacon game today. Except, it got stuck on a black screen, and refused to do a thing. Whack. Installed Project Sekai instead - and this game has Senbonzakura, Matryoshka and so many other amazing songs completely for free. Also, Miku. And Miku is SO damn cool.

My biggest takeaways from today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct: Drag Drive - I don't like sports games, but the mere existence of this makes me happy. Silksong, holy shit? New Layton game, holy shit. An Elden Ring port, holy SHIT. The Duskbloods, HOLY SHIT. I wish I could afford buying the console .u.

One of the things one has to learn as a writer is the ability to let go of a REALLY cool idea whenever said idea goes against the established flow of the story. It's always better to step back and rethink things, rather than try to shoehorn that idea into the story anyway.

Youjo Senki is a story that sends completely opposite messages depending on if you engage with them intellectually, or turn your brain off. Because Tanya keeps on winning, and keeps on having these awesome moments of absolutely slaughtering her enemies - which means, the story endorses her, right?

The one type of Worm Alternate Power fic I don't get is "Taylor Hebert with the power to summon characters from another IP". Because what's the point? You could just isekai the characters properly, and keep Taylor powerless, it'd be practically the same thing! Give her crossover powers instead! 8(
