If i were a former or current member of the US military I can’t think of anything more insulting. Maybe he’s again confusing himself with the UK royal family who wear military outfits for ceremonies. Difference is they have all had active military roles and give their lives to public service.

Hopefully his piling in the billions will be as wildly successful as his attempt to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. And at the same time continue to tank the stock value of his companies.

Bright young people from disadvantaged backgrounds benefitted from National Science Foundation summer science camps. In the 60’s at least there was a link to NASA, with aim of bringing the best and brightest to eventually work in the space programme. My B-i-L was one of these. 😢

Thanks for this- we constantly have to remind ourselves and the rest of the world of the amazing women who have contributed so much to science but whose discoveries are claimed by other, almost exclusively, white men. I’d never heard of Alice Ball before and now I know!!
