I have yet to see AI #pixelart that is remotely passable. If I have any luck, then I will never have to read an "AI can do it better" comment.

I've been learning how to make multiplayer games in #godot 4. Tbh idk why I thought it would be easy

There are plenty of games that run on potato hardware. I've been gaming on integrated graphics for a bit, and I don't think studios have much of an excuse anymore. As much as the "Old Playstation" style is overdone, it's refreshing that I can play these games on ANYTHING.

Got a lot of work done on a new jam. This is a turn based game with a similar turn order system to Honkai: Star Rail. I had a dead project that had this kind of system, but I rebuilt it because I'm better now. Anyways, there's not much to this game yet but that should change soon! #gamedev

A lot of devs have prototypes that are kinda lost to time. I had 3 games I put a lot of effort into before I focused on To be A Rabbit. The thing that made Rabbit release was a story.

Just added more levels and made the game somewhat presentable. There are 2 enemies and 1 more prop type left to put in levels, and then the final boss. 7 days left! That's so much more time than I thought!

been thinking about how I can teach mechanics to the player without a huge text box telling them what to do. This also gives me an excuse to make dumb fun things like this! #gamedev

One of my profs records his lectures on zoom. That's good. But, he sends a message to us on canvas EVERY TIME he uploads a recording. I'm going back to look at some old recordings and I have passed at least 10 that are a minute long with nothing happening. HE HAS FLOODED MY INBOX FOR NO. REASON.
