Each year the baseball park where the local minor league plays hosts GLOW: a festival of millions of lights and holiday fun. Last night I went in a snowstorm and it was *empty.* From the slide to the carousel to Santa to the light shows... just us and snow. It was the most mesmerizing liminal space.

Freshly groomed Toby. As part of his holiday-themed spa package, he got a sugar cookie facial and a bow tie. Yet his demeanor upon pickup was less "pampered gentleman" and more "prisoner of war."

I just finished this novel, "What Kind of Paradise" and LOVED it. The premise is basically "what if Ted Kaczynski had a daughter?" It's both a love letter and hate mail to Silicon Valley. Highly recommend.

I made my newest holiday recipe (discovered last year) that has no right being as good as it is. It's inspired by Australian Rocky Road, made with Biscoff cookie butter (omg!!), melted chocolate, marshmallows, Biscoff cookies, pecans, and spice drops. Sounds weird but it's unreal amazing.

Being an adult is putting as many goddamn marshmallows into my hot chocolate as I want.
