Paul Skenes getting 23 first place votes to Jackson Merrill’s 7 for NL ROY sure feels like a heavy East coast bias. A pitcher who had fewer IP than 45 other NL pitchers vs a position player who contributed nearly 600 PA & 156 games should bear more weight and more 1st place votes than Merrill got.
