Comparing my pre-patch Monochrome Mobius playthrough (finished the game in 35 hours at lvl 56) to my post-patch (finished the game in 32 hours at lvl 99) is crazy. They turned it from a slightly difficult JRPG into one of the easiest ones ever, hope Uta Shiro is better balanced.

Decided to 100% it this playthrough, made it just in time for Utawarerumono Shiro to release.

Watched the Sparks of Tomorrow world premiere, it was a great time Kyoto Animation did an amazing job on it as usual, the characters felt so full of life, the facial expressions are standout Can't say I knew much about the plot going into it, but it gripped me, intriguing setup

Utawarerumono Shiro's release is only 9 days away, feels like it's come up quickly. Wonder if it'll be able to live up to the inevitable expectations that come with it being "the last Uta game". Tbh I think probably not, but I still think it'll be a great time.

Watching the final OVA for this and realizing it might be the last ever animated content in the original Nanoha time-line was interesting. It went a long way, hardly evenly recognizable from the 1st season of Nanoha to this.

Thinking about it, MangaGamer released this Umineko physical copy a couple years back, but now with Umineko Saku coming out it's going to be incomplete. Wonder if they'll do a new physical release with all the chapters, and make this one obsolete.

I knew they'd made Monochrome Mobius easier since I played it on launch, but I didn't realize it was such a walk in the park now, you one shot pretty much everything lol. Well I had been wanting a speedy replay, so I suppose it's convenient.

Watching Nanoha Vivid after StrikerS gives me the same vibe of going from Fate/Stay Night to (early) Prisma Illya. Which is strange, since this has been a magical girl show since the start, but now it almost feels like an alt-world parody, I hope it gets serious.

I do wonder how many people are going to end up going Uta Trilogy -> Uta Shiro and skip MonoMobi, with how they are named. Still think it was a terrible decision to call it Monochrome Mobius rather than Utawarerumono, and an even worse decision to switch it back for the sequel.

Only played it for an hour but wow the glow-up from Utawarerumono Zan 1 to 2 is crazy, everything now feels much more smooth and stylish, gameplay's fleshed out a lot, there's a cool hub world, and there's actually of story content Makes me wish they made a Zan 3 for Uta Prelude
