Sen. Warren: The Trump administration cannot explain the reasons that we entered this war or the goals we're trying to accomplish. The one part that seems clear is that while there is no money for 15 million Americans who lost their health care, there's $1 billion a day to spend on bombing Iran.

Thrilled to notch another win in our long-running case against the GEO Group. So grateful for the appellate advocacy of the inimitable
@bennjennett.bsky.social
who argued and won this at the 10th and then SCOTUS. Looking forward to trial!

For two months, the U.S. government has been racial profiling as masked federal agents hunted for immigrants throughout Chicago. They’ve repeatedly snatched up U.S. citizens while traumatizing communities. “I felt like a piece of trash.” Here is our story

NEW LAWSUIT: We are suing Trump's EEOC for its decision not to investigate complaints of disparate-impact discrimination. The EEOC is required by law to investigate charges of workplace discrimination. It cannot ignore the law because the president says so.

Paraphrasing here... Kagan: Assume this is completely illegal EO. How do the courts actually stop it? Govt: Certify a class action. Kagan: You'll argue there's no class to certify under FRCP. Govt: Yeah true. Kagan: So how else? Govt: Have every individual affected sue. Barrett: Seriously?

American civil society is full of abject cowards, that is the issue. The government is a mafia state but it is winning because most American elite institutions are devoid of anything resembling integrity and are folding rather than stand on principles that were little more than marketing.

in 2010 if you said "this Citizens United decision will end up with one single person buying the House of Representives like a pound of cheese, so as to impeach judges who rule against his coup attempt" you'd have been dismissed as a hysteric
