I bought about 25 books this month. I’ve got more books on my TBR than I’ll read in a lifetime. I’m officially on a book buying ban for the month of August.

Currently listening to Light Years from Home. It is another home run from @mikechenwriter.bsky.social . The narration is also amazing.

Ladies, check your tatas! I did and based on what my doctor saw on mammogram and ultrasound, there is a 95% chance I have cancer.

Hit up Half Price Books yesterday and came home with 6 new to me books. Had I not checked my library app it would have been 6 new to me and 1 I already had. That app has been a wallet saver.

I love audiobooks, but it’s frustrating that a narrator can destroy a book. I’m listening to one that has a good story, but a horrendous southern accent.

So thankful my tripod dog isn’t bothered by fireworks. She’s enough of a mess with a broken paw, we don’t need to add panic attack in the mix.
