Too often, health systems fail to integrate mental health care into cancer prevention strategies. People with severe mental illness are less likely to be screened and often diagnosed later (Lancet Psychiatry, 2019) CO-CAPTAIN seeks more accessible, supportive and people-centred prevention.

With over 560 people reached and 101 participants recruited, the Polish pilot of #COCAPTAIN_EU — led by the Medical University of Lodz — is proving how local action can fuel national transformation. 🔗
