Bread breaking in vtubing = shoutouts, collab offer/planning, pump your socials, raid, etc by someone who "has more food." While crucial to note that the world owes you nothing, if the idea of bread breaking is offensive, yet you actually know each other, put bluntly, You're not their friend 2/3

Inversely, what if someone who skips crucial rapport building steps you tries to finesse or otherwise pull "bread" from your plate w/o consent? That's mooching. In vtubing, this is egregious self promo etiquette breach "Anyway I'm about to go live, bye!" etc 3/3

Anyways, I decided to write this b/c I've been trying to deduce this "hunger" I feel in vtubing. Turns out - it was both things. I lack friends in higher places that are/willing willing to break bread, and yet I had so many strangers and near-strangers trying to finesse mine on day 1. 4/3

As I said before, the world owes you nothing But where I'm from, prior to vtubing, not knowing who your real friends are, or being too easily finessed means you could get robbed, bagged, or worse, your life taken.
