Boy has joined me 🥳 it is nearly 11pm here and I’m still wide awake? I’ve been awake since 4:30? How is this possible 😆

Did a walk about town, found a stone circle, tried to take some pretty mountain pics but there are buildings in the way, doing some laundry at the hotel and snacking until the boy arrives for dinner

Three modes of transportation in one day, sorted 🥳 ran to the hotel, me and the boy have a whole wee cabin to ourselves for the next 3 nights 🙌 was thinking I’d nap because I’ve been up since 4:15 but I’m over caffeinated so I’m going to go wander around town 😜

All of my transportation has been very on time today, and my hotel room is ready for check in, grateful for easy travel days 🥳

Made it to Inverness! Next up is the train to Aviemore, grabbing a sammie as I wait, stoke is high a chàirdean ✌️

Hello Ullapool! Goodbye Ullapool! All the travel is very on time today so far I love this for myself 🥳

Found a nice window seat though, waving bye to Lewis and venturing forth into the Minch to Ullapool 🫡

I was sitting in the pet lounge area of the ferry so I could befriend all the sea faring pups but then I realised it would be rude to eat my muffin in front of them so I moved 😂

They made the first ferry announcement in Gaelic 🥹

I am the first one at the ferry terminal 😆

Mad props to the birds making crazy noises for keeping me company as I got ready for the ferry at 4:30am 😂

I’m really glad I spent my 21st (jk) birthday in Lewis, 13/10 will be back and hope to make it to Harris too next time

Getting picked up at 5:30am tomorrow to catch a ferry to the mainland, then hopping onto a bus to Inverness and a train to Aviemore 🫠 but at least I will have some company for the rest of my holiday 🥳

Since I’m awake and there’s another game going on the same time…let’s go Knicks!

I vaguely remember my alarm going off, turning it off, and going back to sleep 😂 but I made it up for the second half and Scotland is winning 🥳

I’m all “I should be responsible and wait to watch the Scotland World Cup game until I wake up in the morning” but also “I could just set an alarm for 1:55am and see what happens”

This was a fun birthday 13/10 recommend

So I went to a really cool play at An Lanntair tonight which is a really well known (within the Gaelic community) arts centre. The wine they had at the bar was a label called Grapeful Dead ☠️😆
