I’m going to get my ears pierced in a bit. They’re already pierced, but over the years the holes have stretched so that now earrings end up near the bottom of my lobes. Having them repierced higher up means I’ll be able to wear nice earrings again as I limit myself now as to what I wear.

The cats had new glitter collars for Christmas. I put them on them Christmas Eve when Andy and I put on our new Christmas pjs. Stan🐈‍⬛ lost his almost immediately. It still hasn’t turned up. It has an elf bandanna attached to it so you’d think it would be pretty prominent. But no. No sign. 🙄

I have been to the M&S food hall and spent three figures on treats and fripperies. Then into Aldi where veg is 5p a bag (potatoes, carrots, parsnips, sprouts, and whole swede) so spent less than a fiver and that included a six pound fifty bottle of wine reduced to four quid.

My Christmas stated today after I finished work at 4.30pm until the new year. I’ve been to the local library for a talk by the horror writer Ramsey Campbell. And now I’m home and having a beer and eating some of these little cheesy biscuits that Betty Kitten 🐈‍⬛ also likes
