The coffee pod machine broke at the weekend so we’ve had to buy a new one. This evening the water heater broke. It’s out of warranty and I’ll have to phone the manufacturer tomorrow to see if it’s repairable or if it needs mending with a new one. Please don’t let there be a third thing 💷💷💷💷💷

We were going to have a takeaway tonight, but sod it we’re going out to the local Indian restaurant instead because it’s lovely there, fabulous food, and it gets us out for a couple of hours

Wirral fish and chips are rubbish. I’ve never been so disappointed in chip shops since moving here. Most of them are Chinese takeaways, I’d never buy fish and chips from a Chinese in Sheffield. Can’t find haddock. The chips are generally frozen/reconstituted rather than fresh cut. Not recommended

This is my latest book club read. I’ve read four of the twelve short stories it contains, and so far I’ve understood nothing.
