UI work is pain but a tournamant mode is basically functional! Lots of refactoring but now I can easily swap in other lobby formats like round robin or king of the hill. Can also swap in other game modes (besides deathmatch) whenever I create more.

game jam idea: replace traditional rankings with a pass/fail vote. Each jam can define more stringent/lax passing criteria. Competition can be discouraging imo, and this way everyone gets a shot at that sweet sweet dopamine hit of community approval

Leaning towards adding health bars in addition to the ring-outs. I think more intricate stages in the future could be cool, and 'ring-outs only' might be restrictive.. And off-stage/edge-guarding doesn't translate well to 3D anyway. Thoughts?

Working on a teleportation type move! Suprisingly have to refactor a bunch to be able to make the model disappear in a way that plays nice with the netcode... but at least the changes will work for all 'sustained' model effects going forward
