Best movie version I've seen. Got so caught up in the story that I didn't even realize until the end credits that Faye Dunaway, one of my favorite actresses, played Milady de Winter.

Been about 30 years since the last time I read these books, most of them at least once or twice, and can only vaguely remember a couple of them, so I've decided this is going to be Kurt Vonnegut month. First up is "Player Piano."

Filmed in 1929 this is one my favorite silent movies with one of the greatest film endings of all time. I was lucky enough to see this years ago on the big screen at the Silent Movie Theatre in Hollywood.

Best version I've seen so far. Unlike the Beaver, who watched the movie with the Ritz Brothers and then wrote a book report for school on what he saw, you probably could write one based on this version and fool your teacher.

This 1939 20th Century Fox very funny musical with Don Ameche and The Ritz Brothers is an almost shot for shot remake of the 1933 RKO Pictures more serious version. But you should read the book. The plot is much more complicated than these movie versions.

Even though this movie ends about the halfway point of the original book and has an ending that's partly Dumas and partly the Hollywood screen writers I thought it was a pretty enjoyable adaptation. Walter Abel was a good D'artagnan.

So tonight's movie was this. The version I watched was dubbed into I think Japanese so I didn't understand a word of it, except for a couple of songs . I have no idea why they were on their way to Spain or who the King at the end was supposed to be. Or who that was in the swamp.

This 80 minute animated feature actually kept my interest the whole way. It kind of reminded me of that old comic strip Spy vs. Spy.

So, wherever Dreamland is they're protesting ICE too.

One of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. It's not porn , nor does it even qualify as soft porn. The best part about it was the beautiful German countryside.

Second adaptation I've watched in the past two days that has turned this classic quest novel into a contemporary revenge story with a plot line not in the original book. This one was a little too modern and stylistic for me. Didn't even finish the first episode. The Musketeers (2014-2016)

Tonight's movie was 1974's "Les quatre Charlots mousquetaires", a French slapstick spoof of "The Three Musketeers", where the 4 lackeys take center stage and are the heroes of the story. Even if you don't speak French (like me) if you've read the book you can still follow the story. Lots of gags.
