AI companies need to be pushed to develop technologies that reduce/remove the environmental threat they are causing. They should not be driving increasing changes they cannot handle. The opportunity for tech development is HUGE, but people and the planet should not need to suffer in the meantime.

I've expanded my post about how I create images. Some of it informational, some of it because it's a crappy world for artists right now. I applaud using a critical eye to try to decipher AI images, but artists are getting hit with AI accusations constantly now.

I'm baffled! So, I've run a few of my digital pieces through an AI detector just to see where they come out. I've done 4. So far, they're all saying likelihood of AI is less than 20%, sometimes 4%. The oldest, less detailed of them all? That one is setting off the AI detectors like crazy. WTF???

My guess? They have to wait until their partner goes in and calls back "get in here, man!". Everyone just thinks the vampire policeman is neurodivergent.

I think that remembering that not all people have access to the same life experiences or education that you've had is SUPER important. Someone seeking to educate themselves should never be mocked. They had the courage to ask. Now, people being jackasses ... that's a different story.

I think the best thing people can do nowadays when watching videos is to ask: "is it reasonable that there was a camera there to catch this" "why is the thing they want you to see centred in the video rather than the person filming themselves" and other basic questions 🧐

As I've just sent these free mental health resources to people I love to help them on their journey, I figured I might send them out to others that might benefit from them. My therapist had be do one of these, and it (surprisingly) was helpful. If you do them, though, do it SLOW!
