I keep playing with the idea of making Blackiron a dragonborn. There are a lot of tieflings in this comic already. The idea of a clanless dragonborn seems right for him; it would contribute a great deal to the kind of lifelong chip on his shoulder that would drive one to become a vengeance paladin.

I think the expected move would be "Minthara mean, Ratboy scared" but there's more to it than that. Little fucker will backstab you for her if you ignore his quest for too long. Gods only know what evil he would commit for basic acknowledgement that despite The Problems he's good at his job.

Grenna- first dead or final girl, nothing in between Jack: dies luring raptors, last words a quip about outsmarting them as others escape. Dell: responsible for the dinosaurs. Gets eaten. Not even mad. Belaufein: the underdark prepared him for this, he'll be fine. Well, alive. (1/2) #tavqotd

Belaufein-- disconcertingly un-childish. Already pushed another kid into the clawrift at this age. Doesn't expect help or mercy. Haunted. The party loses track of him and needs Mol's help to find him. Gets some hugs about it, but not until he's back to normal, because until then he'll bite in fear.
