My current dog endorsed read is this, borrowed from my library. Jodie collects her favourite sentences from books and harbours a dark secret about something that happened a few years earlier. I’m so very intrigued to find out what that thing is…

Mixing up my reading with these two now, Songlight is from my library, and The Impossible Fortune from
@falkirklibraries.bsky.social
… I was 70th in line for it and my reservation arrived remarkably quickly!

New Order’s Tutti Frutti is indeed a perfect choice for a 5K soundtrack. What other songs would you suggest?

One of Scotland's most popular wee hills, did you know Dumyat is pronounced 'DUMB-eye-at'? An alternative to the usual shorter route from the Sherrifmuir road, we've just replaced our old Dumyat from Blairlogie route to make a fine circuit - live now.

Humble brag really but I first read The Hunger Games as a proof copy in 2008. Need to reread it because my kids are obsessed with it and I’ve forgotten so much that I can’t join in their book chat! So I decided to treat myself to the deluxe version of the entire series. Because we’re worth it!
