Rejoice! The waters have receded. They were lapping at the B&B door. We gaffer taped it up and opened a bottle of wine. This strategy proved to be successful. I intend to apply it to other problems going forwards.

River levels are falling now. Impressed and grateful with how Le Bandiat coped. Its quite a natural system upstream of us and there is a tree down in the channel that raises the level about a metre and it saved us I reckon.
