“Zsa Zsa, Alone” by Diana Fenves is a prose piece in our newest issue, Autumn 7:2. It reckons loneliness with performance through the beauty and grace of Zsa Zsa Gabor.

A Museum of Waxwings by Dilys Wyndham Thomas reflects on the trials of preserving life and beauty as they slip away. Written for her mother with dementia the poem centers on a collection of taxidermied birds suspended before a watercolor landscape in an attempt to restore flight to long dusty wings.
