Today's SCOTUS opinion in Louisiana v. Callais is white supremacy, plain and simple. CJ Roberts lets Justice Alito do his bidding to essentially eliminate the remaining parts of Section 2, but both are too cowardly to declare it unconstitutional outright. Typical white man behavior, TBH.

Alexander has, predictably, become a tool to block Black and Latinx plaintiffs from challenging racial gerrymandering under the 14th Amendment. Now, it could be a 14th Amendment racial gerrymandering claim brought by white plaintiffs to end section 2 claims. They aren’t even trying to hide it.

This may seem procedural and not as easy to understand as the Dobbs ruling, but this is one of the most dangerous Supreme Court rulings of our lifetimes.

This Supreme Court has paved the path to Trumpian autocracy. I'm extra angry today at every single person who told me in 2015 and 2016 that I was fear-mongering when I warned that the single most important issue in the 2016 election was the Supreme Court.
