The good news is that DT and his puppet-masters are reinvigorating the EU, bolstering its sense of common cause. Grim, excellent article by François Furstenberg on why everyone should fight the corporatization of US higher-ed. Colleges and universities have been on this anti-democratic, anti-intellectual path for decades, and it will keep getting worse--unless students, their parents, and donors take action.
