Got sending webhooks from Godot to OBS working! The plugin is weird and the documentation is lacking, to say the least, but I can at least send events to OBS to control things again. For some reason a built-in error handler causes the program to hang on response from the WebSocket server, so--

Feeling a little better today. Trying to get some sort of connection between Godot and OBS WebSocket was really burning me out yesterday. Not really any info out there on it. It's not even that I'm flying blind, I'm sitting on the runway poking at buttons trying to get the plane to start.

After 12 hours or so I've completely failed to accomplish anything and have made zero progress towards any goals today, but at least a side effect has been looking over and seeing Dusty gently floating at the edge of the screen now and again

Now that I'm not spiraling so hard: I mentioned the other day that I'm having a hard time with drawing lately. That doesn't mean I've stopped, I've got sketches and ideas and character doodles and things I've been sharing in private, just a lack of big, finished pieces that social media likes.

Splitting headache in progress but I also hacked together a solution via Godot signals to get Twitcher alerts working, so it's a race to clean things up and document this for my future self before sitting upright is no longer a viable option

While I've been working my way through rebuilding stream-related things in Godot, my old streaming tool has just kind of stopped working in various ways. The pessimist view is probably that I have to find more work-arounds now, the optimist view is that I gave myself a head start.
