Tchaikovsky is such a great composer, there's something so relatable and terribly tragic that one of his most popular pieces (1812 Overture) is also the piece he hated the most, the one he tore himself up over. I like Piano Concerto No. 1 a lot personally ^^

The comms discussion is a weird one for me to see because it feels like this issue is easily solved by artists changing up how they take payment and there being more transparency on both sides. I always try to be punctual and informative to clients and be really clear about what's going on.

While I'm having trouble sleeping here's a funny cat game update, I beat Daggerfall. That last dungeon is probably my favorite, it has a tiny bit of sprawl but is more puzzle based, Daggerfall's dungeons are fun but jeez do they get BIG!!

Also yes I'm still playing Daggerfall in my off-time and yes I am nearing wrapping up the campaign (among a smattering of other quests) dhfsghsdfjg -- definitely a great game, goes on the shelf besides Morrowind as one of my top videogames of all time and as one of my deserted island games...

I feel like it's often glossed over how genuinely good a lot of the in-world fiction of the Elder Scrolls is. I was just reading through some of King Edward and Fools' Ebony and they're such genuinely wonderful works of in-world fiction, they really show what you can do with lorebuilding in-setting!

Been playing Daggerfall again recently but with only a mod to swatch up Khajiit looks, honestly the game is still really fun even without stuff put on top... though it could do with some bugfixing, even with everything DFU did for it lmao

Out of nowhere thought - I will always miss Anthony Bourdain, I swear every time I watch old chef and restaurant videos and happen upon a clip of him I get all teary inside, the dude was an absolute legend. I used to watch Parts Unknown to go to sleep at night, good times.

Beat Fallout 2 at last, really great game honestly! The jank is never too major and I imagine its influence is why it still plays like a lot of newer CRPG games. Definitely worth playing!

A cool detail in The Blair Witch I see constantly missed in newer coverage and by people unfamiliar with old film cameras is that all of the audio in-world (when not shot on a VHS camcorder) is recorded on a DAT, since film cameras couldn't capture sound. This is why the audio at the end is weird!

I've almost beaten Fallout 2 for the first time, after having already beaten FO1 I think I can say for sure that the argument of whether FO3 & NV or FO4 have the best power armor is LAME!!! FO1 and FO2 have some of the CRAZIEST power scaling on that shit hdsfhgjsdfkgs actually makes you feel so huge
