I've read hardly two novels since again "becoming" a writer. Don't novelists/playwrights eat, drink, and sleep their current creations?

Some are calling the 'Devotion' episodes (rerun, "remastered") expert level and praising their pacing. Others find a strange, beneficent comfort in the world that's been created. I am so thankful for the few. It is a lifeline for me.
