Easy to miss 'Universe' listening bar in Kyoto as it's up some inconspicuous stairs, which takes you to a bar that probably fits 10 people but the intimate size is perfect for solo folk. Takashi, the owner, introduced me to 70s Japanese band Tulip + more! Good vibes, closes late & diff sakes to try.

The Cut Killer scene is still one of my favourite movie scenes of all time.

Finally watched Luca Guadagnino's Queer and loved it. The off-kilter soundtrack and score, Daniel Craig's performance, the comedic turn with Lesley Manville, the jungle dance... to name but a few. Leaves a much deeper impression for me than Challengers, that's for sure.
