I really enjoyed No Other Choice. So many gruesome & wickedly funny moments to front the underlying indictment of the corporate environment. However, the best dark comedy of the London Film Festival 2025 so far goes to Bugonia. #LFF2025 #ParkChan-wook

Sentimental Value: Joachim Trier does it again. He leads you down the garden path with humour & sharp dialogue with this look at two daughters & their relationship with their filmmaker dad. Then unexpectedly, he hits you with a tenderness that has more staying power the more you think on it. #LFF

You have to be on the app bang on time to book ahead, keep up with the daily bulletins by email every morning, check the website for 10am public screening releases and somehow deal with all the glitches on the system at the same time. #LFF

Songs of Forgotten Trees - Anuparna Roy's debut feature, seemed promising at first as it delicately laid out the intertwined lives of two flatmates in Mumbai - one a sex worker and one a call centre agent. But an undernourished script quickly made this film forgettable. #LFF #londonfilmfestival2025

Clint Bentley's Train Dreams: a story of finding glimmers of joy in the abyss of grief, against the backdrop of early 20th century rural America. The film burns slowly but steadily, with sprinkles of something metaphysical; a subtle telling of what space and place means. #LFF

Chronology of Water: Kristen Stewart delivers a film that leaves you in immediate need of several glasses of wine & a quiet place to sit and process. The heaviness becomes too much to bear at times, but the ethereal sequencing puts you in the same dissociative state as the protagonist. #LFF
